BUDAPEST BAG

I love to travel—anywhere. During my travels, I strive to collect spontaneous impressions and visual experiences so that I can look back on them. Almost always.

No matter where I am, what matters most to me is getting a feel for the local culture, observing local customs, eating their food, using local transportation, and so on.

Looking out the airplane window at the receding landscape, we no longer see the boundaries between water and land as distinct lines, but only as blurs merging into one another. It was these patches that sparked the idea for the bag. Budapest is my favorite city. Its rich architecture, atmosphere, and history provide me with endless inspiration…

The decorative element on the bag is half of a map of Budapest on the main section. On the main side, the pattern is layered; on the other side, the pattern blends together.

It depends on your outfit which side you wear facing out; it’s a two-in-one.

That’s how I made sense of the dripping puddle on my bag. 🙂
